Offset show applications at Ubuntu dock to start
Below is a simple command that moves the show application button from the end of the dock to its beginning.
Nowhere in Ubuntu have they given the possibility to transfer it. The dock itself can be moved between the mountain, down left or right.
This is extremely useful when using the dock in the bottom position.
To change the location of the button, run a terminal and issue a command:
1 | gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock show-apps-at-top true |
The command below works on most versions of Ubuntu with gnome.
