Installing plug-CSF, LFD for the panel VESTACP
Below a very simple way to install the plugin ConfigServer Security & Firewall (csf) VESTACP for the panel in a few very simple steps.
We log in to our server console to root.
charge and then run the script:
1 | wget https://vestacp.ss88.uk/Install_CSF_on_VestaCP/Install.sh -O ./Install.sh |
1 | chmod 777 ./Install.sh |
1 | sudo ./Install.sh |
That's all the plugin is installed 😉
Default is off
edit file /etc/csf/csf.conf
1 | nano /etc/csf/csf.conf |
I seek out the line:
1 | TCP_IN = " |
We add our panel port vestacp.
Line should look like this:
1 | TCP_IN = "20,21,22,25,53,80,110,143,443,465,587,993,995,8083" |
We can now run the plugin from the Web.
The script will automatically lock us erroneous log on to e-mail,ssh.
For their part, I recommend completely block certain countries.
How to do it?
admission write how we can block access to our server from a particular country using the CSF.
List of country codes is the most current blocking To use the option in the CSF must edit the file from the SSH:

find the line:
1 | CC_DENY = "" |
codes and make it a country that we want to block:
1 | CC_DENY = "US,GB,DE" |
Then save and restart CSF:
1 | csf -r |
