The following tutorial describes how to install the Opera browser in Ubuntu and Debian systems and Linux Mint.
The whole is reduced for the implementation of some simple command's get started!
Run a terminal for Ubuntu is a shortcut keys CRTL + ALT + T and issue the following command to add the repository Opera
1 | sudo sh -c 'echo "deb http://deb.opera.com/opera-stable/ stable non-free" >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/opera.list' |
Then grab the key repositories:
1 | wget -O - http://deb.opera.com/archive.key | sudo apt-key add - |
The final steps are to update the repo and install the Opera system:
1 | sudo apt update |
1 | sudo apt install opera-stable |
Our browser has been installed 🙂
What codecs? Whether they are still incompatible with those of the official repos?
Which codecs are writing?
I did not notice any problems.
chromium-codecs-ffmpeg
In the official repos (no additional, in addition to the opera) I rarely compatible version of the opera ( i.e. chromium base) these codecs. And as they were “major version” different this video was not already.
