Assign a busy e-mail account by DirectAdmin
By default, Directadmin also creates a mail account under the name user@domain.pl after creating a new user
Sometimes it is necessary to use an account, for example admin@domena.pl
It is not possible to log in to it or change the password for it.
Here is a simple guide on how to replace the system in the active email account.
The whole will be done on the example of the account admin@domena.pl
we create a new e-mail account in the directadmin panel named admin2@domena.pl
Then edit the file using ssh:
1 | /etc/virtual/domena.pl/passwd |
We change admin2 to admin
and change the path.
The next step is editing:
1 | /home/admin/imap/domena.pl/ |
Here we also change admin2 to admin.
We can now create the email account of our choice using dorectadmin.
