Below a very simple way to install the plugin ConfigServer Security & Firewall (csf) VESTACP for the panel in a few very simple steps.

We log in to our server console to root.

charge and then run the script:

wget https://vestacp.ss88.uk/Install_CSF_on_VestaCP/Install.sh -O ./Install.sh

chmod 777 ./Install.sh

sudo ./Install.sh

That's all the plugin is installed 😉
Default is off

edit file /etc/csf/csf.conf

nano /etc/csf/csf.conf

I seek out the line:

TCP_IN = "

We add our panel port vestacp.

Line should look like this:

TCP_IN = "20,21,22,25,53,80,110,143,443,465,587,993,995,8083"

We can now run the plugin from the Web.
The script will automatically lock us erroneous log on to e-mail,ssh.

For their part, I recommend completely block certain countries.

How to do it?

admission write how we can block access to our server from a particular country using the CSF.
List of country codes is the most current blocking To use the option in the CSF must edit the file from the SSH:

/etc/csf/csf.conf

find the line:

CC_DENY = ""

codes and make it a country that we want to block:

CC_DENY = "US,GB,FROM"

Then save and restart CSF:

csf -r
